Every piece should have it's little
surprise. This one got a mirror polished finish on the bottom of the backbone.
The pads of the feet also were polished and that's why there are red shoes
on the feet in photographs, to protect them from the concrete floor.
After I polished the piece I desecrated
it by signing it in that location. I wanted my name on the tree, but in
an unobtrusive place. I guess subconsciously I wanted someone to see my
signature, since I put it on the "shiny" part.
