Next step would be to put the idea for
the project on paper. Below I compared the look of a 20 inch ring with a
16 inch ring. Since the ring has ten hook, the hooks will be located every
36 degrees on the ring. I chose ten hooks because Roycemore has nine letters,
and the mascot is a Griphon. Putting a letter between ech hook and adding
the griphon would look OK to me. Along the bottom of the picture you can
see my full-sized drawings for the letters themselves. Doing these made
it easier to make the tools for shaping the letters.
