| As I sawed out the letters, I laid them on the ring. The most difficult thing about making the ring was fitting the letters. Each letter has two brass nuts soldered on the back. Every letter would therefore have two screws holding it to the rack. Each screw would have a hole that I would have to drill without being able to see exactly where it should be. The results were lucky, to be sure and I intend on using the method in other projects in the future. |
