These are New Old Stock right out of the crate they were shipped in. This is your chance to own a piece of history. The only similar ones I found online cost more than twice this much

I don't know the exact age, but Simonds stopped making handsaws in 1926, so that's the youngest they could be.

Never mind how old they are, they're NEW. There is no rust or crud. they have a light coat of old oil on them. I removed the oil from this blade and waxed it with paste wax. That's the stuff that shows up in the pictures.

I have Ten blades available. I don't have handles, but there are a couple of styles that look fairly easy to make. If you want one of these, you need to use the button at the bottom of the page. Shipping via UPS Ground is about $30, plus or minus a little.Maybe you need

Two Sides

This is the same blade showing both sides.

Tooth Pattern

Here you can see the tooth pattern. That's the wax residue I mentioned above. The saw is sharp and set and ready to use, whether you use it as a sawyer or a saw collector.

Handle Holes

The hole pattern is pretty standard. The notch on the bottom is used by a screw action clamp-type of handle, the two holes above that are for a type of handle that is offset from the blade slightly. Both styles of handle are made for quick removal so the sawyer can pull the saw out in the middle of a cut.

The price is $110 plus $30 shipping via Insured UPS Ground to the lower 48. If you're not a member of the "Lower 48 Club", we'll ship it to you at the actual cost.
